Information Systems and Telecommunications

The strategy and the operations of Arkema must be supported by worldwide, reliable and effective Information Systems and Telecommunications.

 

Information systems include :

 

• a global standardized IT infrastructure (networks, workstation, ...), 
• worldwide, regional or local applicative systems, as appropriate, 
• and all associated services (system operations, help desk, support, training, ...).

 

IS&T teams are located over three continents (Europe, America, Asia) , mainly in Paris, in Lyon, in Philadelphia and in Singapore, but also through all countries where Arkema is located.

 

Their actions contribute to five strategic objectives :

 

•  deliver optimal commodities (commodities = IS&T basic services : workstation,  e-mail, printing, help-desk, networks and telephone),
• leverage existing IS/IT investment,
• enable IS/IT flexibility and agility,
• support Arkema strategic competitive advantage,
• develop and implement, for the IS&T people, the HR policy of the Arkema Group.
